No confirmation after January 2023?
It seems the CBIC has not confirmed IRS(C&IT) officers since February 2023. As per information, as many as 35 officers of 2018 and 2019 batches were confirmed with effect from December 25, 2021. The website has no information about confirmation of further batches.
